Sometimes the shortest distance between two points is a walk around the block. Many return to an earlier passion after a hiatus of some kind.
Raising a family, business ventures and life was the demur that put painting on hold. Today, I cannot imagine a day without painting.
Now retired to the beautiful Sarasota Gulf Coast I am constantly inspired by unimaginable beauty each day. Whether the inspiration comes from a magnificent sunset with a sky so full of color, a bright sunny day that warms both your body and your soul or a comic pelican as he dives mouth wide for his diner.
I am at my best when I have a paint brush in hand and extend that joy to the canvas. I hope that you enjoy my work and in some way it shares that same joy to you that it gives me.
My work includes fine art, coastal wall art, and designs painted on fabric sewn into home decor pillows. And, importantly, it’s affordable. I worked my entire life to build a future, so I know how precious is the money we earn. Art is for pleasure; it should not stretch your wallet. Simple, affordable pleasures are my model.
